The effectiveness of the Criminal Procedure Act:
• What provisions are there in the Criminal Procedure Act that are there to ensure the efficiency of the criminal justice system?
• What amendments should be effected to ensure that there are solutions to the current blockages in the criminal justice system.
For example, the Criminal Procedures Act only provides for a district surgeon to examine a rape victim and there is currently a shortage of district surgeon’s, should this be extended to General Practitioners?
